Talented string musicians, from the Royal College of Music, are taking to the stage at Crowborough Community Centre to perform a programme of classical music from history’s greatest composers.
The concert is an opportunity to enjoy beautiful
classical music and raise money for the DEC
(Disaster Emergency Committee) Ukraine
Appeal, which provides the humanitarian aid to the besieged nation.
Viktoria Grigoreva, organiser of this event, was born in Kharkiv, Ukraine and many of her relatives live in the city. They, like most
Ukrainians, are dependent on the aid being provided, thanks to the donations and
fundraising activities of people from around the world.
Viktoria is a violin professor teaching at the Royal College of Music (RCM). Her
students and former students will perform at the CCC on 22nd May (3pm to 5pm).
Tickets can be purchased online at https://ccc-ukraineconcert.eventbrite.co.uk with all profits going directly to The DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.
