1st Buxted (O'Briens Own) Scout Centre Grand Opening

We are excited to announce that we are ready to move into our new Scout Centre, we're just finishing off making it feel like home. As a thank you for your patience, to show our new centre off, and to promote our scout group, you are all invited to our grand opening celebration on Saturday 5th July from 4 until 7 pm. The ribbon cutting will be at 4:30pm, so don't be late, and stay for the closing flag break at 6:45pm.

There will be something for all ages:
Tours of the new building
Join in small and large scale pioneering
Toast marshmallows around the fire
Help set up a patrol site
Take part in other scout skills activities
Bouncy castle
Barbecue and licensed bar

This is a great opportunity to come and learn what each of the sections do throughout the year, for young people aged 4 to 18 and beyond. There's a lot more than you might think! You can also chat to us about how you can get involved in the group, or just come and say hello.

This event is open to anyone, so please bring along family, friends, and neighbours. We look forward to celebrating scouting and sharing our new home with you all.
