A Dusk Chorus

The Ashdown Singers are delighted to be presenting 'A Dusk Chorus' at Cornerstone on Wednesday 17th June at 8pm. As a local chamber choir we are keen to build an audience in Uckfield and invite you to come along and hear us. For our Summer concert we will be singing a varied programme of music. Traditionalists can enjoy Mozart's Ave Verum and Bruckner's Locus Iste. For the more adventurous we will feature works by contemporary women composers such as Sarah Quartel and Reena Esmail. Some of the pieces will be accompanied by Tim Guntrip, Director of Music at Holy Cross church, Uckfield, and proceeds from the concert will go towards the Holy Cross organ fund.
