Ian Siegal is renowned for his raw, soulful voice and captivating guitar skills. With a career spanning decades, he’s one of the most respected blues artists today.
Described by Classic Rock Magazine as a “National Treasure”, Siegal’s long list of past achievements includes 13 British Blues Awards, 3 Mojo Blues Albums of the Year, 4 European Blues Music Awards and 3 USA Blues Awards nominations. With such a pedigree, it’s easy to see why MOJO Magazine celebrates him as “the cleverest writer and most magnetic blues performer in the UK.”
Siegal’s most recent studio album Stone by Stone is a celebration of collaboration with the muscle of Siegal’s voice standing front and centre. Recorded in Southern California’s Grow Vision Studios with production team Greta Valenti and Robin Davey (Beaux Gris Gris & The Apocalypse, The Hoax) the songs are raw, intimate, and assured. Greta explained: “We wanted to really capture the essence of who Ian Siegal is. His voice, his soul, and his years as an artist and touring musician all leading up to this point in his life and career.”
Supported by the amazingly talented blues/Americana/roots duo – David Migden on vocals accompanied by Joe Gibson on fingerpicking guitar – this is sure to be an electrifying event. David is renowned for his incredible versatile baritone voice and for his bands The Twisted Roots and The Native Oyster Band.
