Bridge Cottage is a 15th Century Wealden Hall House in Uckfield High Street. Tis morning it will be open for anyone to explore the inside of the Cottage. There will not be a guided tour, but on arrival you will be greeted by one of our volunteers, who will give you a leaflet and invite you to look arouns all rooms of the Cottage.
At the end of the Open Morning, Brian Phillips will lead a local history walk on the theme of 'Where Was Uckfield's Medieval Market?'. There is no charge, nor do you need to book - just turn up at Bridge Cottage.
