More Information (Ashdown Radio is not responsible for external websites)
1 in 5 mums will experience mental health issues and our charity runs therapeutic support groups for mums. We're running a group for second-time+ mum or birthing parents in Haywards Heath, in January and would love to get the word out!
Our next Second Nature group starts on 7 January and the group of up to 12 mums and babies meet for 8 weeks from 10am to 12pm at The Yews. The group, run by qualified counsellors, explores how the challenges and changes associated with bringing home a sibling can feel huge, but are normal.
We talk about birth stories, challenges to identity, relationships, bonding & attachment, expectations, mental health, support networks and more - helping mums feel they are not alone.
