Brian Hart's book 'Uckfield's Railway-Triumph and Tragedy' records the history of our railway from the arrival of the line in Uckfield in 1859 to its closure.
Brian gave a talk on 2 October in Bridge Cottage, based on this book. We didn't have room in Bridge Cottage for all those who wanted to hear Brian speak, so he has agreed to return on 20 November to repeat the talk.
Copies of the book, priced at £39.95, are on sale in the Uckfield Heritage shop, and will be available at the talk.
