Beer & Cider By The Sea will serve up another selection of real ales, craft beers, artisan ciders and perries next year, after its sell-out success over the weekend.
The three-day music, food and drink festival, which is one of the biggest on the south coast, will return to the seafront Western Lawns from 14 – 16 May 2027 with early bird tickets now on sale - held for a short time at this year’s prices.
More than 130 tipples were on the menu at the annual CAMRA-supported showcase, with Friday and Saturday sessions both sold out in advance. Music fans were treated to performances from the likes of Fat Freddie & The Queens, The Big Kahuna, 80’s music from Eclectic Dreams and classic rave from Large 90’s.
The event showcased producers from up and down the country with the largest selection of Sussex breweries so far, and some exciting new collaborations. An array of gins, Pimm’s, Prosecco, wines and cocktails were also on offer, alongside street food stalls and face painting, to create the perfect festival look.
Eastbourne Borough Council’s Lead Member for Tourism & Place, Cllr Jenny Williams said, “Beer & Cider by the Sea is such a fan favourite across all generations, whether you are into live music, great beer or just the fantastic festival atmosphere. After this year’s bumper box office success, now is the time to secure the dates in the diary and grab those tickets at this year’s prices - before they all disappear!”
Beer & Cider By The Sea returns from 14 – 16 May with sessions from 5pm – 10pm on Friday, 11am – 4pm and 5pm – 10pm on Saturday and 12pm – 5pm on Sunday.
Children are welcome on Saturday and Sunday afternoons with free child tickets available for the final Sunday session.
