AFC Uckfield Town and the University of Brighton have launched a brand-new student placement partnership to give university learners real-world industry experience within a live football club environment.
Announced in July 2026, the collaboration embeds students directly across the club's coaching, performance analysis, media, and medical departments for the upcoming season.

- Participating Courses: The program pulls from various degree pathways including Sport Coaching, Sport and Exercise Science, Strength and Conditioning, and Sports Journalism.
- Performance Analysis: Supported by AFC Uckfield Town's Head of Analytics, Shaun Lee, students will film live matches, gather team and opposition data, and build comprehensive performance reports.
- Fitness & Medical: Strength and conditioning students will work under the guidance of the club's head of physiotherapy to assist with player physical preparation and recovery sessions.
- Media & Operations: Students will take on roles writing match reports and generating social media content throughout the season.
