In women’s cricket, Sussex fell to a 30 run defeat against Glamorgan in the T20 Blast, with Sussex being put in a promising position after taking their opponents for 145 runs with the ball, but fell short at bat, as Rachel King led the side, managing 35 runs. 

Looking at the men’s cricket now, Sussex will be looking to carry on their encouraging return to life in the County Championship tomorrow, as the side prepares to host fifth placed Warwickshire, while Paul Farbrace’s side sit third in the table five points ahead of their opponents, with the game getting underway at 11am.

Over to local cricket, where Crowborough will be looking for a return to form away against midtable Little Common Ramblers 2nd’s, while Uckfield Anderida visit Crowhurst Park 3rd’s,  as Buxted Park welcome Worthing.

Elsewhere, Heathfield Park are visiting second from bottom Brighton Dome Mission, as Newick host Hailsham 2nd’s, while Isfield will be looking to build on a great result last weekend when they play away against bottom placed Lewes Priory.

Meanwhile, Barcombe are at home against Plumpton & East Chiltington, hoping to reduce their gap to the league leaders, as Fletching look to host Crowhurst Park 2nd’s, as Rotherfield travel to face Lewes St Michaels.

Lastly for the cricket, Nutley will face bottom of the league Mayfield 3rd’s away from home, as Blackboys visit third placed Pevensey, while Hadlow Down look to maintain their recent good form when they welcome St Peters 5th’s.

Finally in the bowls, today’s fixtures have Crowborough visiting Speldhurst, as Uckfield play away against Motcombe Gardens, while tomorrow two Horam League games will see Crowborough host second in the league Ringmer, with Uckfield travelling to face Groomsbridge.
