Eastbourne Borough will travel away to face a midtable Maidstone United, looking to record their first league win of the season and move closer to safety.

Speaking of Eastbourne, they have confirmed their new manager in the returning Tommy Widdrington, who most recently managed Aldershot Town, with Widdrington having previously spent five years in charge of Eastbourne, and returns after eight years away.

Elsewhere, Lewes are set to visit 17th in the league Aveley, with The Rooks aiming for their first league win in five.

In the Southern Combinations Leagues, AFC Uckfield Town will travel to face Arundel, while Jarvis Brook have a big test in second placed Billinghurst at home. 

Over to the Mid Sussex Leagues, Rotherfield will welcome second in their league Frenches Athletic, as Ridgewood host Willingdon Athletic, with Barcombe at home against Ringmer AFC 3rd’s.

Meanwhile, Buxted will host Rotherfield 2nd’s, with Newick visiting Cuckfield Town 2nd’s, as Nutley play away against Ansty FC in the second round of the Stratford Cup.

Lastly in the men’s, two Tester Cup fixtures will see Maresfield Village welcome Hurstpierpoint 3rd’s, while Hartfield travel to play Warlingham 2nd’s, as Plumpton Athletic face Ringmer AFC 4th’s away from home in the Parsons Cup. 

Now in women’s football on Sunday, Lewes will visit Hashtag United over in Essex, for the Round of 32 in the FA WNL Cup, with The Rooks opponents sitting second from bottom in their division.

Over to the men’s rugby now, Heathfield & Waldron are at home to Dover, looking to bounce back from their first defeat of the season last time out, as Crowborough prepare to host Ashford, while Uckfield  can make it three wins from three away against Hellingly, as Newick visit Barns Green.

Finally in women’s rugby this Sunday, Uckfield get underway for their second league game of the season as they travel to face their league leaders the Seaford Scarlets.
