Eastbourne Borough secured all three points in their first match since the departure of Tommy Widdrington, as interim manager Robbie Brake’s side earned a very impressive 4-2 victory over second placed Torquay.

 

Elsewhere, Lewes were held to a 0-0 draw with Chesham, as Crowborough Athletic fell to a 3-2 defeat to league leading Three Bridges.

 

Over to the Mid Sussex Leagues, Rotherfield secured a tight 3-2 win over Lindfield, with Ridgewood convincingly beating Rotherfield 2nd’s 6-1.

 

Lastly in the mens, two goals in the 88 & 89th minute saw Nutley progress in the Malins Cup by beating Athletico Redhill 3-2, while Hartfield are drew 0-0 with Keymer & Hassock. 

 

Finally over to women’s football, where Lewes claimed a commanding 4-0 win against Exeter City, as The Rooks secured a three goal lead in the first half alone.
