Sussex Cricket got their season underway at Hove on Thursday, as they started their two day friendly with Kent, as the visitors finished day 1 with 302 runs for 7, while Sussex get the action back underway later today.
In football, Eastbourne Borough face another crucial fixture in their bid for survival as Steve King’s side visit relegation rivals Chippenham, with Eastbourne sat at the bottom of the standings, six points from safety.
Meanwhile, Lewes will travel to face playoff hopefuls Dartford, with Crowborough Atheltic away to fifth in their league Faversham Town for the second time in four days, looking to avenge their midweek defeat.
In the Southern Combinations, AFC Uckfield Town will be aiming to continue their resurgent form when they visit East Preston, as Jarvis Brook play at home to top of the standings Infinity.
Over to the Mid Sussex Leagues, Rotherfield are away to Frenches Athletic, while Ridgewood host Eastbourne Athletic, as Barcombe travel to face Brighton & Sussex Medical School.
