A famous ventriloquist who finished fourth on Britain's Got Talent back in 2013 has visited a Sussex charity ahead of two shows he is producing later this month.
Steve Hewlett from Eastbourne travels the world performing and says ventriloquism is more popular than ever.
Now he's putting on two shows in the town on October 17 - and is hoping both will sell out.
They are at Bibendum in South Street- the first show is from 6pm-8pm, then a second show - which is completely different - starts from 9pm.
The shows are called Eyes & Teeth, the name of Steve's podcast, which he started during Lockdown.
All proceeds from the raffle will go to Sasbah, a charity based in Old Town, Eastbourne, which creates opportunities for those with disabilities to thrive.
Steve popped in to meet some members of the Sasbah family, pictured.
Steve said: "I am forever wanting to bring great entertainment to Eastbourne, and thought that bringing the guests of my podcast to the stage to create special nights out was the next step.
"To launch Eyes & Teeth the night out, I am starting with two performances to give the audience a choice of an early evening show or late night performance.
"Every member of the cast in these shows have appeared on my podcast.
"Show one kicks off with comedian and opening act to the stars Paul Adams, who Steve first saw as support for Stevie Wonder at the Royal Albert Hall back in 1995.
"Then, it's Nina, my wife, who just happens to be an amazing singer - she has put together a stunning set, followed by Headliner Comedy Store Legend Richard Morton. Steve will also be featuring a few of his ventriloquial characters.
"Show two also sees Paul Adams return as Host, followed by local vocalist Barney Pout, and then TV comedy legend Bobby Davro. Steve will be performing a set as well."
