Starting next week, most homes in Lewes district will move to alternate weekly bin collections.
This means your refuse and recycling bins will be collected fortnightly, on the same day, alternating each week.
Food waste collections stay weekly and will be on the same day as your refuse and recycling collections, at a different time of day.

Please note, we are providing extra collections for any households that have to wait longer than two weeks for a refuse or recycling collection as you move from your old collection calendar to your new one.
If your home is having an extra collection, this will appear on the bin day look-up at EnvironmentFirst.co.uk - you can also check the letter that arrived with your new calendar.
