Residents can bring chairs, blankets and brollies (hopefully to shelter from the sun!) along to Luxford Field and enjoy live music, a pop-up bar, street food and some children’s entertainment including face painting.
The event starts at 3pm and ends at 7pm.
Bring a picnic or buy food from the local food providers who will be joining us for the afternoon including Uckfield and Districts Lions BBQ, Pioppi Pizza, Sinderella Bakes and Indulgent Ice creams. Uckfield Town Council will be providing a bar where people can buy a range of alcoholic and soft drinks. We will be entertained by local groups including Uckfield Concert Brass, the Uckfield Soul Survivors choir, Rosie Ann Page, Holy Cross Children’s Choir and the Deborah Lamb Theatre School.
The Town Clerk, Holly said: “This will be a free event enabling the community to come together and celebrate this momentous occasion.”
