Wealden District Council have taken urgent action to stabilise the 'dangerous structure' following concerns raised by local residents last month.
A Grade II listed building, formerly the Maiden's Head Hotel, required urgent action from Wealden District Council after large cracks were discovered throughout the property.
This led to a partial highway closure whilst the Council secured the building. The owner of the property has been contacted and informed of their duty to maintain the building to uphold local resident's safety.
