Displays added to Eastbourne Airshow after Red Arrows cancel

The Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress 'Sally B' and the Conair Turbo Firecat have been added to the Airbourne: Eastbourne International Airshow lineup.

They serve as replacements after the RAF Red Arrows cancelled their performances because poor weather left them stranded in Canada following a US tour.

Newly Added Displays

  • Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress 'Sally B': Europe's last remaining airworthy B-17 will fly from Friday to Sunday.
  • Conair Turbo Firecat: Making its Airbourne debut on Saturday and Sunday, this firefighting aircraft will deliver a unique water-drop display over the seafront.

Remaining Main Lineup

The updated programme for the four-day event running from 13–16 August 2026 still includes major crowd favourites:

  • RAF Typhoon Display Team
  • Battle of Britain Memorial Flight
  • Red Devils Army Parachute Display Team
  • Black Cats Helicopter Display Team
  • AeroSuperBatics Wingwalkers
  • Rich Goodwin's Jet Pitts
