Reason for Closure:-
A spokesperson for Tobis Holdings stated the closure is necessary for "essential repair works" to address safety risks. The planned works include:
- Replacing the underground surface water drainage system and soakaways.
- Comprehensive resurfacing to fix deep potholes and uneven ground.
Access for Shops and Visitors:-
- Local Shops: All businesses in the area will remain open and accessible via designated footpath routes.
- Parking Alternatives: Visitors are encouraged to walk to the site or use lawful parking on nearby public roads.
- Duration: There is currently no confirmed reopening date, as the management may extend the period to ensure all safety standards are met.
