Brighton & Hove Pride 2026 takes place from Friday 31st July to Sunday 2nd August 2026, celebrating its 35th anniversary with the official theme "The Power of Love"

Over 300,000 people are expected to gather across the weekend for the UK's biggest LGBTQ+ visibility event.

🏳️‍🌈 Main Events & Lineup

1. The LGBTQ+ Community Parade (Saturday, 1st August) 

• Time: Begins at 11:00 AM.
• Route: Starts at Hove Lawns, moves along King's Road, up West Street, turns onto North Street, snakes around the Royal Pavilion, marches up London Road, and finishes at Preston Road near Preston Park.
• Cost: Free to watch from the streets. 

2. Pride on the Park (Preston Park)

The official main festival and charity fundraiser runs on Saturday and Sunday. 

Features multiple secondary spaces including the Legends Cabaret Tent, Queer Town, The Cocoa Butter Stage, and Bears in the Wood. [1]

3. Pride Street Party (Kemptown Seafront)

• When: Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd August.
• Headliners: Gok Wan (DJ Set) and Bimini (DJ Set).
• Lineup: Includes Baga Chipz, Bailey J Mills, Kerry Ellis, and Rozalla. 

🎟️ Tickets & Pricing

Tickets must be purchased through official ticket partners like AXS or Skiddle. Do not buy from unofficial secondary sellers. 

• Brighton Residents Discount: Resident tickets can be applied for via the Official Brighton Pride Website at £25 for Sunday and £49 for Saturday/Sunday (subject to local catchment checks).
• Low-Income Scheme: Financial aid tickets are available on the main website.
• VIP & Camping: Official camping is hosted at Waterhall Campsite, though these options typically sell out ahead of the weekend. 

🚊 Travel & Transport Logistics

Expect severe congestion, major road closures along the parade route, and suspended parking bays across the city. 

• By Train: Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR) is running extra train services over the weekend, but expects massive queues. Give yourself significant extra travel time. 
• By Bus: Brighton & Hove Buses will operate dedicated shuttle services running directly to Preston Park from major hubs like the Old Steine and Waterhall Campsite. 
• Walking & Cycling: Walking is highly recommended. Brighton Station to Preston Park or Marine Parade takes roughly 15–20 minutes. You can also rent e-bikes via the Beryl BTN Bikes scheme across city hubs. 

🦺 Safety & Well-being

• Hydration: Bring an empty, refillable water bottle to use at the free water points across Preston Park.
• Safe Space Brighton: Operating out of St Paul’s Church on West Street (BN1 2RQ) from 10:30 PM to 5:00 AM on Friday and Saturday nights for anyone distressed, unwell, or separated from friends.
• Sea Safety: Alcohol and the ocean do not mix; emergency services advise everyone to stay out of the sea after drinking
