The local catering company were supplying food at Eastbourne's Ultimate Christmas Party Fest at the weekend and didn't let the left-overs go to waste.
The very popular Big Kahuna catering van was situated outside Eastbourne's Town Hall on Friday and Saturday night, to provide food to the party revellers who were attending Eastbourne's Ultimate Christmas Party Fest.
On offer were festive burgers, carvery rolls and roast potatoes, all served with a choice of sauces and gravy.
At the end of each evening, rather than throw any leftovers in the bin, the owners of Funky Events boxed up numerous hot meals and hand delivered them to homeless people across Eastbourne.
The owners said, "Rather than let good food go to waste, we decided to box-up the food that we had left and made sure that it went to people less fortunate in the town"
"We hand delivered over 30 hot meals to people sleeping in shop doorways in the town centre and at Eastbourne's Railway Station. It was amazing to be able to spread a little Christmas cheer and help out the community"
