Hailsham residents are invited to attend the Annual Town (Electors') Meeting on Wednesday, 13 May 2026 at the Hailsham Civic Community Hall on Vicarage Lane.
Event Schedule & Details
The evening is split into two parts to allow for both informal community engagement and a formal meeting:
- Public Information Exhibition (6:30pm – 7:30pm): Local community groups and organisations will host information stands. Residents can talk to representatives and learn about local projects.
- Annual Town Meeting (7:30pm start): Chaired by the Town Mayor, Cllr Chris Bryant, this formal session allows electors to ask questions and raise concerns regarding the parish of Hailsham.
How to Participate
The meeting serves as an open forum for local government electors to influence future projects and discuss the Council's priorities.
- Ask Questions on the Night: Members of the public can raise questions from the floor during the meeting itself.
- Submit Questions in Advance: Residents can send questions to the Town Clerk by Friday, 8 May 2026.
