To meet the growing employment demands in Crowborough, eight employment units have been built on the Wealden Business Park at Farningham Road to attract new businesses to the area and accommodate local growth.
The units, due to complete next month, are perfect for businesses looking to expand or relocate.
The units have been designed to offer modern and flexible spaces with high levels of insulation, solar panels with battery storage, EV charge points, roller shutters plus generous parking and turning space. They can also be adapted to add in mezzanine floors to give extra levels inside the unit if needed.
All units are suitable for a wide range of business types, including light manufacturing, storage and distribution, and general commercial use excluding motor trade.
Councillor Kelvin Williams, Alliance for Wealden (Liberal Democrat) and lead councillor for Public Health and Asset Management, said, “We’re looking forward to the completion of our latest employment units in Crowborough which has been an exciting project in the North of the district. The purpose-built spaces have been designed to support the growth of local businesses with modern, flexible, and energy-efficient facilities which have good transport links to Surrey and London. These have been built to the highest standards and are ready to meet the needs of today’s industrial and commercial landscape.”
