Following the death of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, we would like to invite you to the ‘Proclamation of the new King’ on Sunday 11th September.
After the Proclamation has been read by the High Sheriff at County Hall in Lewes at 1pm on Sunday 11 September, local dignitaries and members of the public are also invited to the reading of the Proclamation at district level later the same day at 4pm at the Hailsham War Memorial (marked by the red X on the attached image) on Hailsham High Street.
Please use the local car parks surrounding Hailsham War Memorial as the High Street will be closed off at some point during the afternoon.
