Staff from Lydfords Care Home in East Hoathly recent gathered to help throw paint during the Rainbow Run in aid of St Wilfrids Hospice.
Lydfords were proud to be able to sponsor the orange paint station at the 2026 Rainbow run where participants run, jog or walk 5k and help to raise money for hospice care. Staff turned up in their orange t-shirts and their bright coloured sunglasses prepared to make a mess with the powder paint.
General Manager Sky LeRoy said “We are so grateful to be able to join in and help raise money for the Hospice. They do such fantastic work and deserve every penny that gets donated to them.”
Everyone had such a fantastic time despite the rain and wind and we hope to be able to join in again for the 2027 run. Well done to everyone who participated, you all did such an amazing job!
Lydfords Care Home is run by Barchester Healthcare, one of the UK’s largest care providers, which is committed to delivering personalised care across its care homes and hospitals. Lydfords provides residential care and dementia care for 36 residents from respite care to long term stays.
