St Wilfrid’s Hospice is gearing up for its annual Make a Will Month.
The scheme invites people to make or update a will in exchange for leaving a gift in their will and/or donating to the hospice. Available to over 18s who wish to make a standard single or mirror will for couples, the suggested minimum donation is £150 for a single will and £200 for a mirror will.
Solicitors are taking part from Eastbourne, Hailsham, Seaford, Polegate, Battle and Uckfield, and include Barwells, Burtons, Cramp & Mullaney, Hart Reade, Mayo Wynne Baxter, McCarthy Webb, Parfitt Cresswell, SO Legal and Stephen Rimmer LLP.
Rozelyn Bristowe, Legacy and Trust Manager at St Wilfrid's, said: “Most of us put off making or updating our wills, but it is so important to ensure your wishes are clear when you die. Our Make a Will Month scheme in September presents the ideal time to sort your will out while also helping the hospice at a time when we need your support more than ever.
“We are very grateful to all the solicitors taking part in this year's Make a Will Month. They can only offer a limited number of spaces, which means appointments get snapped up quickly, so make sure you book in soon if you are interested.”
