Mims Davies MP hosts Tour of Parliament for students of East Grinstead, Uckfield, and the villages

Mims has hosted many tours of Parliament with constituents of EGU and was thrilled to host a special tour for students interested in politics, international relations, and what it is really like to be an MP.

Mims welcomed students inside the iconic Houses of Parliament and discover the heart of British democracy with a chance to ask her as many questions as they could.

These unforgettable tours offer a unique opportunity to explore the magnificent Palace of Westminster, uncover centuries of history, and experience the grandeur of one of the UK's most recognisable landmarks.

From stunning architecture to fascinating stories and traditions, visitors will gain an inspiring insight into the past and present of Parliament in an engaging and memorable setting.

“It was a real pleasure to welcome a fantastic group of students to Parliament.

We explored the House of Commons Chamber, the House of Lords, Westminster Hall, St Mary Undercroft, and so much more, giving them a chance to see first-hand where our country's laws are debated and history is made.

The students asked thoughtful, insightful questions about politics, being an MP, and the work of Parliament.

Their curiosity, enthusiasm, and engagement were truly inspiring, and it was encouraging to see so many young people taking such an active interest in our democracy.

Thank you to all of you who took the time to travel up to London and join me on the tour - I hope you enjoyed the experience as much as I did!

The future is bright, and I'm excited to see what this next generation will achieve.”
