Mims and her team have been working hard to bring a Banking Hub to East Grinstead and Uckfield for residents who need that extra support and help when banking.
The arrival of the temporary banking hub will be fantastic for small businesses, older residents, our more vulnerable residents, and anyone who needs face-to-face contact and who deals with cash.
Mims previously launched her online survey gathering views from residents on what services they need most and more:

“East Grinstead, I promised you on my FB page some good news!
We finally have a location for our temporary Banking Hub - the fabulous Glen Vue Centre!
I think this is brilliant news and long-awaited and I know all the residents who took the time to contact me regarding a banking hub will be pleased too.
This fabulous location has lots of parking and a great #cafe inside too so this is perfect for those who need that extra #support and help with their banking.
This is coming to us early March, so I’ll keep you updated as soon as I have more info and I’ve spoken to the team and they are also in the works for providing a permanent Banking Hub too.
I know there is also going to be one in Uckfield too, so once I have the info, I’ll let you know more.”
