This week, Mims Davies MP was thrilled to welcome residents from Balcombe to tour Parliament and join Prime Minister's Questions.
Topics vary from week to week, and this week included Women's Rights in the Workplace, Fuel Duty, Emergency Care, Mortgage Rates, and Teachers’ Drawings, to name a few.
These topics highlight the diverse issues being addressed during the PMQs, showcasing the dynamic nature of political discourse in the UK.
Prime Minister's Questions (PMQs) in the House of Commons Chamber is a ticketed event which takes place every Wednesday at 12 noon. Advance booking is essential to be sure of entry and MPs have a limited number of tickets so requests should be made as far in advance as possible.
Mims Davies MP said:
“It is always an absolute honour to welcome residents from East Grinstead, Uckfield, and the villages to tour Parliament and join Prime Minister's Questions.
I always love welcoming and meeting residents and having the opportunity to share the amazing building where I work on their behalf, raising their concerns.
For anyone in EGU who is interested, we have regular tours and tickets to PMQs for all constituents - so please do get in touch if you'd like to join us or follow the below link:
