MP Nusrat Ghani backs plans for Heathfield micropub

Nusrat Ghani, the MP for Sussex Weald, has officially backed plans for the opening of Two Tails Taproom, which will become Heathfield's first micropub.

Key Details of the Development

• The Founders: Deena and Colin Gilham.
• The Location: 37 High Street, Heathfield.
• The Site History: A former independent womenswear and clothing boutique.
• Previous Operations: The business previously operated via local pop-up events at Union Church.
• District First: The venue will be the first drink-led venue in Heathfield town centre and the only micropub in the Wealden district. 

Community Impact & Offerings

The venue is being transformed into a permanent local social hub. The micropub aims to foster community engagement by hosting local events and serving an assortment of independent Sussex produce, including: 

• Locally sourced craft beer
• Regional wines
• Artisan ciders
• Spirits from local independent producers
