The branch located on the High Street in Heathfield is set to close, with plans approved to convert it into a gym.
A planning application to turn The Original Factory Shop in the High Street, Heathfield, into a gym has now been given the go-ahead by Wealden District Council.
The application was submitted by Leon Gayle.
The retailer is still operating, but, according to the planning application, the landlord intends to end the lease in support of the gym proposal.
The Original Factory Shop runs nearly 200 branches across the UK; however, reports have surfaced about its financial struggles.
