Plans submitted for a new Starbucks in Polegate

Plans have been submitted to build a new Starbucks drive-through at Polegate Services on Hailsham Road in East Sussex.

If approved by the Wealden District Council, the development is expected to create up to 20 new jobs. 

Key Details of the Proposal:-

• Location: The store is planned for a vacant plot of land near the Cophall Roundabout. The site currently serves as parking for car boot sales but is otherwise unused.
• Access: Plans include a new access road from Hailsham Way, featuring a dedicated pedestrian walkway to ensure safe access for those not arriving by car.
• Facilities: The development aims to provide a family-friendly meeting space for the local community to socialise.
