Sussex Police are appealing for witnesses after a 19-year-old motorcyclist was reportedly assaulted in an unprovoked "road rage" attack at the Cophall roundabout in Polegate.

- Date & Time: Tuesday, 17 February 2026, at approximately 2:00 pm – 2:15 pm.
- Location: Cophall roundabout, Polegate, heading west.
- The Incident: The motorcyclist, riding a green Kawasaki Ninja 500, was allegedly kicked off his bike and violently attacked in the middle of the road by two men.
- Suspect Vehicle: A black Land Rover Discovery (reported by some sources as a dark grey/black Range Rover Sport). The two occupants drove off after the assault.
