Development of the latest Local Transport Plan (LTP) for East Sussex is underway and you can share your views.
The Local Transport Plan (2023-2050) will be one of East Sussex County Council's most important documents as it will set out how the authority will connect people to places around and through the county over the next three decades. It will look to improve transport, deliver better access to jobs and services including education, help tackle carbon emissions in the county, and create safer, healthier, more sustainable and inclusive communities.
Wealden MP Nus Ghani said: "I would like to encourage Wealden residents to take part in this consultation and share their priorities for transport and opportunities for improving services across the area. Clean, low-emission bus and train services are especially key in rural areas such as Wealden, so this is a perfect opportunity to have your say on how transport in East Sussex and Wealden will be delivered. Better bus services and the electrification of the Uckfield line remain my priorities for Wealden, and I will continue working with East Sussex County Council to ensure that Wealden secures the infrastructure improvements it needs."
