The event runs from Saturday 21stFebruary to Sunday 1st March.
This popular seafood festival celebrates the local harvest with specialized menus and events across Rye and surrounding areas like Camber, Hastings, and Bexhill.
A spokesperson said, "Rye Bay Scallop Week is all about variety. Expect scallops steamed, seared, tempura’d, ceviche’d, baked, buttered, wrapped, paired, puréed and probably surprises we haven’t even thought of yet. Whether you’re after a quick scallop bap, a long leisurely tasting menu, or a full-blown evening of food and music, there’s plenty to get your teeth into.

Over 21 venues have confirmed participation for 2026, offering everything from "scallop baps" to fine-dining tasting menus. Highlights include:
