Sussex Police are appealing for witnesses after a 13-year-old schoolgirl was shot with a BB gun at Uckfield bus station
The Incident
- Date and Time: Monday, 22 June 2026, at approximately 3:40 pm.
- Location: Uckfield bus station, East Sussex.
- What Happened: The teenage girl was waiting for a bus when she was struck by a pellet, causing a lump on her head. After noticing pellets on the ground, she saw a man point a gold-coloured gun at her and fire it.
Suspect Description
Police are searching for a male suspect described as:
- Age: Around 18 years old.
- Height & Build: 5ft 7in tall, slim build.
- Appearance: Short brown hair (longer on top) and facial stubble.
- Clothing: A white T-shirt and potentially football shorts.
Police Appeal
