Sussex Police have launched an investigation following multiple reports of vehicles being broken into in Eastbourne between the night of 3 February and the morning of 4 February 2026.

• Targeted Area: Reports indicate the break-ins were concentrated in the Langney area of Eastbourne.
• Police Appeal: Residents are urged to check their vehicles for missing items or signs of entry. Officers are specifically requesting CCTV or doorbell footage from the early hours of 4 February that may show suspicious activity.
