Successful morning of car washing in Uckfield

Everyone came together yesterday in Uckfield.

A fund raising car wash was opened at Uckfield Fire Station

It was ran by East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service Fire Cadets, Volunteers, Uckfield Fire Crews and Senior Officers

During the event in excess of 50 cars were washed for a voluntary donation and left the Fire Station sparkling.  The event, through the generous support of residents of Uckfield and the surrounding area raised £1094 for this important charity

Charity fundraiser Dick Broady stated “This was a fantastic event and raised much needed funds for a charity that does so much to support the UK firefighters and their families”
