Uckfield Town Council is inviting Uckfield residents to a Coronation Celebration on Saturday 6 May 2023.
Residents can bring chairs, blankets and brollies (hopefully to shelter from the sun!) along to Luxford Field and enjoy live music, a pop-up bar and street food. The event starts at 3pm and ends at 7pm
All are welcome to bring a picnic or buy food from the local food providers who will be joining us for the afternoon including Pioppi Pizza, Sinderella Bakes, Indulgent Ice creams and Uckfield & District Lions with their BBQ. Uckfield Town Council will be providing a bar where people can buy a range of alcoholic and soft drinks. We will be entertained by local musicians and groups including Uckfield Concert Brass, the Uckfield Soul Survivors choir and Rosie Ann Page.
Town Clerk, Holly Goring said: “It won’t be a formal event and there will be no charge. Luxford Field is a great central space in the heart of the town that we can all come together after witnessing the historic ceremony and celebrate with each other".
