- Initial Stop: Officers from the Roads Policing Unit (RPU) initially intercepted the driver for failing to give way to pedestrians on a crossing.
- Discovery: While the officers intended only to offer advice, they discovered the driver's licence had expired once it was produced for identification.
- Action Taken: The vehicle was seized under Section 165 of the Road Traffic Act, and the driver was issued a summons for the offences
