In November last year, MPs voted in favour of proposals to legalise assisted dying in England and Wales.
That bill will now face many more months of debate and scrutiny by MPs and peers with the approval of both Houses of Parliament needed for it to become law.
This vote inspired local resident Victoria Storey to get in touch to share her story.
It is not to support either side of what is a deeply passionate debate, but to share her story, which is a journey of hope.
Attached is Victoria’s personal account.
She will be on Ashdown Radio with Peter Suter on East Sussex Today on Thursday morning, 23 January just after 10:30.
