Local domestic abuse charity RISE is preparing for their annual 8K Undercliff Run for Women, a vital fundraising event, and they want YOU to get involved!
If you want to be part of this great event which raises vital funds for domestic abuse support in East Sussex, RISE would love to see you. There’s no need to run the route!
Volunteers are needed on:
- Saturday 7th October – to sweep the course and ensure it’s clear and safe
- Sunday 8th October – event day! To marshall the route, set up and take down the event infrastructure, set up and supervise medals and water, help staff the RISE marquee & water stations, tail walker, lead cyclist and start/finish line assistance and more!
Volunteering experience is not required: RISE will make sure you are partnered up with an experienced volunteer on the day, and training or instructions are provided.
“While this event serves as a powerful platform to empower women and showcase their physical and mental strength, men's support, whether as volunteers or donors, greatly contributes to our cause” - Leah, Fundraising Lead
For further information on volunteering at this event visit our dedicated volunteering page

It's not too late to enter the race! You can sign up here, and follow RISE on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to see amazing prizes and goody bag contents as they're announced
