It was a tough day for our teams in the Division 8 East, with Crowborough falling to a seven wicket defeat to third place Selmeston and Alciston, while Uckfield Anderida lost by four wickets to second place Mayfield’s 3rd XI. Buxted Park lost by two wickets to Crowhurst Park, Isfield fell by two wickets to Hailsham, and Plumpton & East Chillington came agonisingly close to beating Southwater, losing out by one wicket.

In the Division 5 East, Newick earned a seven wicket victory against Herstmonceux, as Barcombe’s title charge appears to be all but over, as they lost by seven wickets to Ringmer.

Rotherfield’s title dreams are still alive, as they beat Nutley by three wickets, to remain five points behind league leaders Robertsbridge with three games to go.

Blackboys beat Ringmer’s 2nd XI by 127 runs, as Hadlow Down moved to the top of their division, beating Streat & Westmeston 2nd XI by 176 runs, as they head into their final game next week.
