Well done to Stuart Chappell

Stuart "Chappie" Chappell is a fundraiser from Uckfield, East Sussex, who took on a marathon charity challenge to ride the iconic Big One rollercoaster at Blackpool Pleasure Beach non-stop.

The high-intensity event featured the following details:

  • The Goal: He initially aimed to ride the 235-foot-tall, 80 mph rollercoaster continuously for six hours.
  • The Result: He surpassed his original target, remaining on the ride for seven hours and enduring over 80 consecutive laps.
  • The Cause: The challenge raised money for the Teenage Cancer Trust, a charity he has supported for over a decade.

Over the last ten years, Chappie has raised roughly £25,000 for the Teenage Cancer Trust by completing other grueling events, including a 100-mile walk and wing-walking. He was previously named the charity's "Legend of the Year"

The total so far is over £3,500:00
