The collision between a car and a pedestrian occurred near Crowborough last week.
Police were called to the incident near Sheep Plain on the outskirts of the town at around 5.50pm on Wednesday (10 August).
The incident involved a blue Jaguar X-Type and a woman who suffered life-threatening injuries, she remains in the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.
Anyone with relevant dashcam footage of the vehicle and the woman at the time of the collision of immediately beforehand is also asked to contact the police. Officers are also keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision.
