Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a serious collision in Haywards Heath Road (A272) in North Chailey.
The collision took place on Tuesday 28 April at around 7.55am.
It was reported that a Silver Honda motorcycle was being ridden westbound on the A272 approaching the junction with Beggar’s Wood Road (B2183) when it collided with a light green Kia turning into the A272 from the junction.
The rider of the motorcycle, a 19-year-old man, was taken to hospital where he remains to be treated for serious injuries.
No arrests have been made at this time.
The road was temporarily closed whilst emergency services remained on the scene, however it has since been re-opened.
Officers are pursuing a number of enquiries in an ongoing investigation and encourage anyone who witnessed the collision or who has relevant information such as CCTV, mobile or dashcam footage to report it to us.
