Woman acquitted of drug dealing offences

A woman charged with drug offences has been found not guilty at Lewes Crown Court.

Cara Foxwell, 25, of Silverlands Road, St Leonards was charged in connection with County Lines drug supply investigation.

Following a two-week trial commencing on 17 August at Lewes Crown Court, on 28 August, Foxwell was found not guilty by a jury and acquitted.

Detective Chief Inspector Kay Hutchings said: “I commend everyone involved in the investigation of this case for their hard work and dedication.

“Officers worked tirelessly to thoroughly investigate this case and present it to the court, and we respect the decision of the jury.

“We will remain committed to pursuing and investigating County Lines drug supply and safeguarding young and vulnerable people from exploitation.”
