We have summoned the legendary pioneers; the architects of this era, to take us back to those nights of reverence and release.

Along with many other hits and apperances on Top of the Pops "Activ 8 (Come With Me)" – Their biggest hit, reached #3 on the UK Singles Chart in 1991..

Still as busy as ever up and down the country and abroad in places like Ibiza doing what he loves Mark is a regular at many festivals inc Glastonbury playing Glade and Arcadia to name a few.

Slipmatt entered the DJ scene in 1988. Shortly thereafter, he formed the influential breakbeat hardcore act SL2 with DJ Lime. Their first release, “Do That Dance,” came out in 1989 .

SL2 swiftly gained underground traction, with “DJs Take Control / Way In My Brain” reaching No. 11 on the UK charts. Their follow-up, “On a Ragga Tip,” became a defining rave anthem—No. 1 in the Network Charts and No. 2 in the UK Top 40 in April 1992 .

Often described as the “Godfather of Rave,” Slipmatt has earned legendary status for his role in pioneering the acid house and early UK rave movement .

He’s certainly no stranger to a festival or two either playing at leading big top gigs such as Glastonbury, Boomtown, Reminisce and so many more. The regular visits to Ibiza continue to this day where ‘Slipmatt’ has been taking his own ‘Slip Back In Time’ event to San Antonio for a regular annual sell-out 7-day rave holiday in the sunshine. 

The name itself is synonymous with the golden age of rave. A legend of the Fantazia,Dreamscape and Telepathy hall of fame,Ellis Dee’s prowess behind the decks is the stuff of folklore, promising a euphoric journey through the greatest anthems ever released.

With many classic releases as a solo artist The Captain as he is also known was part of the legendary trio Rhythm Section.
