Hastings Philharmonic Ensemble

Uckfield Music Club are so pleased to able to present this ensemble of outstanding international musicians from the ranks of the fully professional Hastings Philharmonic Orchestra. They will be performing two masterpieces of the classical chamber music repertoire, both bringing an overall spirit of good-humoured vigour. Beethoven’s Septet for clarinet, horn, bassoon, violin, viola, cello, and double bass, has always been one of his most popular chamber works. Schubert’s sparkling Octet basically keeps Beethoven’s instrumentation , but adds a second violin.
