URFC is set to receive a massive upgrade
This will include improvements to the clubhouse and facilities, aimed at boosting sport provisions in the area.
The project will be funded with a £1.35 million investment from Wealden District Council's Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL).
These enhancements are part of a larger plan to transform the club into an "accessible and inclusive community hub" with a range of new sports.
The renovation plans include the creation of a professional sports medical space, accessible changing rooms and flexible social spaces for community use.
As a result, the club will be able to introduce several new sports, including mixed/inclusive stoolball, padel and netball.
